Great Oak Psychiatry's Denver (Aurora) office is located at 2101 S Blackhawk St, Suite 240, with weekday hours from 8:00 am to 6:15 pm and Saturday hours from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. Care at this location is currently available by telepsychiatry, connecting Colorado patients with two experienced psychiatrists.
- Dr. Ramez Ghanbari completed his adult psychiatry residency at Duke University Medical Center and holds an additional Ph.D. in Neurosciences, giving him a deeper grounding in the biological side of psychiatric treatment alongside his clinical training. He brings experience with adjunct treatments including TMS and Ketamine, and focuses on the synergy between medication management and psychotherapy to reach the best outcome for each patient.
- Dr. Madhu Ahluwalia is a board-certified psychiatrist with more than 40 years of experience, trained at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York with a fellowship in CBT from the Beck Institute and advanced training in Mind-Body Medicine. Her career spans inpatient, outpatient, partial hospital, and consultation-liaison settings, followed by 34 years in private practice in Rockland County, NY. Now based in Denver, she provides telepsychiatry in collaboration with Dr. Luis Vallejo and the rest of the Great Oak Psychiatry team.
Between decades of clinical depth and specialized training in biological psychiatry, Denver-area patients have access to two distinct approaches to evaluation, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric care.
