Psychoanalytic therapy is a method in which we more richly map and access one’s psychodynamics and unconscious. You and your provider form a “primordial relationship” in which you closely partner / endeavor to examine how your mind is infusing the living moment.

This process is induced over some time and regular visits where you utilize “free association” to examine the rich flow of your unconscious upon the moment and relationship. Gradually you expand your consciousness into these areas and gain greater agency and congruence within your mind.

Considered the “stem cell treatment” of psychiatry / therapy, it carries one of the most profound capabilities of producing deep level change, resolving unconscious arrests, and retriggering foundational psychological development. It is a larger, more prolonged journey that you must be prepared to embark upon however.
