Comprehensive Therapy Orientations
Therapy is not a catch all term. The mind is a four-billion-year-old jungle / ocean with multiple ways to navigate it. As such, there are over 50 main types of therapy and over 500 subtypes of therapy. As part of your in-depth evaluation and synergistic treatment planning, we will advise you on what orientations of therapy are best to apply. We will either refer you to one of our in-house therapists or refer you to someone in your area. Typically, we will get best results when combining biological/behavioral interventions such as medication management with the right orientation of talk therapy. Examples of therapy types are Psychodynamic, Psychoanalytic, Cognitive behavioral therapy (diverse types), Dialectical behavioral therapy, EMDR, and many more.
